The only class / race combo that should never have happened is the Iksar Monk and all the changes to the monk class Kunark brought.

Eh Iksar Monk aren't that much better than humans, although I think the class should've stayed human only to preserve the uniqueness.

The only race/class combo in the game that shouldn't have happened is Iksar Necro. Increasing the efficiency of their class defining ability (Lich) is just broken. No other race/class combo synergizes at that level.

Aside from silly meme combinations (Ogre Rogue, Troll Cleric, etc), I'd just like the combos that actually made it into the game around Luclin that make sense from a lore perspective (Halfling Ranger/Pally, Gnome Pally/SK).

Regen is nice, but it isn't gamebreaking on a monk since mend and Fungi exist, just makes things a bit faster, AC is nice but again doesn't make that huge a difference. Yeah they're better but not in a way that actually matters, it's on the level of FSI for Shaman, nice but doesn't change the class functionally.

For a Necro, you're getting the benefit of two innate Z-hearts, the BIS 1Her for the class which directly impacts your core mana regen mechanic. that's actually game changing.
