Default Windows 10 Problems

I have been trying for days to download P99 on Windows 10. Every single time, it deletes the dsetup.dll file when I try to patch over the P99 file. I've tried to exclude the file, I've turned off my firewall and antivirus, I've tried to download it to my desktop but windows 10 indicates I cannot do that. I downloaded the game into a folder and then dragged it to my desktop. Anything else I can try? Why is this all not working?

What is the message that windows is giving you when you are trying to copy the p99 files into the titanium installation?

where is the folder? do not DL into your program files. if you already know this. my bad for the reiteration. make a premade folder in your cdrive. down load. make a shortcut of the eqgame.exe, add patchme to the extension make sure to update the eqhost file. then exempt the entire folder in your antivirus software. then download the patch 45 files and just extract them directly into your folder. it should work fine.
