Default Worth rerolling?

I play a cleric - a high elf cleric. She is my first character and is level 11 now. But, basically, since the last time I played EQ was in 2000, I forgot that the dwarves were right next to the wood elf city where I like to level. It's kind of lame that my strength is really low as a high elf even though I can technically wear plate. So my question for you guys is, would it be worth remaking my character as a dwarf cleric for the extra 30ish strength (and the fact that I can quest for dwarf-only equipment..and being short is usually fun)? Or will the problem just solve itself as I get higher level?

That probably sounds like a silly question, but oh well. I never got past level 16 in the original game, so I am totally clueless as to what's to come. Please help? XD And sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forums.

High-elf clerics are fine and one of the most common choices, unless you did something silly like putting all your starting points into agility.

Play what you want, how you want. The low STR sucks, but you can overcome that with time. Level 11 isn't too hard to reach, so if you do want to play a Dwarf go ahead and reroll.

I have a high elf cleric and didn't think twice about it. It's a normal choice.

It looks like most of you generally agree it's not a big deal, so I think I'll end up sticking with the high elf. I don't think I have the motivation to go back and level again if being a dwarf cleric isn't a pretty big advantage in the game vs what I am now. People will just have to wait up for encumbered little me! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Thank you all for your advice! <3
