Default Item Names No Longer Appearing in Inventory, Loot

Good Day! Over the weekend, I noticed that when I hover over items in inventory, or in the loot window, it no longer gives the tool-tip type name of what it is any more. It's off on all my characters. I've been hunting to see what I may have accidentally done to shut this off, and I'm out of luck so far. Anyone have any ideas on how to toggle this on and or off? Or should I wipe and re-install?

IE you hover your cursor over your backpack, and a moment later it shows a little tag saying "Backpack" You hover over an armor item, and it'll tell you the name - ie Flayed Skin Cap, or Sacrificial Dagger, or what have you. NONE of that is going on now.

I know I must have done some key combo to shut it off, but... I have no idea what it may be.

Thank you!

It's a well known Windows error. Restart your computer. Maybe 2-3 times.

This situation has happened to me a few times, and this has always been the solution.

I posted about this problem a few months ago and I still have the same problem.

Even during this whole time, I have rebooted at least a dozen times and still doesn't show the names anymore.

Well, for my situation, I didn't realize my pc has been on for a few weeks straight! LOL So several reboots later it was all working correctly again.

I know that if I was going to wipe/reload, I would change the directory name again, too. Sometimes - no, a lot of times - windows keeps a "memory" of sorts. So re-installing to the same directory gave the same issue. Change directory name, and it works famously again. Why? I have no clue. But when I was working on pc's I noticed it all the way back from Windows 95 as an occurrence, and even on Win7, 8 and 10 it happens once in a while.

Try going into windowed mode and back to fullscreen. Also tap alt a few times.
