There is literally no mainstream discourse about *how* a death is attributed to covid. 250k dead!! Well, how many of them had co-morbidities? Oh almost all of them. Rittenhouse defended his own life against people who were trying to kill him. People get really hung up on this issue because he was 17 and wasn't legally carrying. Well, chasing somebody down who is clearly attempting to retreat with a mob behind you and smashing him over the head with a skateboard is *also* not legal. That's called violent assault, if not attempted murder. Why the hell do people still think this is a grey area case? It was clearly self defense on his part. He didn't shoot anybody until he was forced to by their actions.

If you wanna charge the dude with illegal carry of a firearm, by all means please do. If you wanna charge him with premeditated murder, you're a fuckin retard.

Great, that wasn't my point. My point was that we do not and have never responded this way to literally any other communicable disease. This response is hysterical and borderline paranoid-schizophrenic. Why are we responding this way to this one? If you have a good answer to that question I'd love to hear it.

No that is an absolutely ridiculous equivocation. Rittenhouse showed up to clean graffiti and protect innocent businesses from rioters. People began chasing him after he put out a literal dumpster fire with a fire extinguisher. He was carrying a medical pack to treat anybody who might be injured. Criticize him for having a bit of a superman complex, that's fair.

Reinhold literally stalked and murdered a guy for being a trump supporter. He was not *forced* into it, he snuck up behind the guy. Rittenhouse was attempting to run away and flee, and used his firearm only when he had no other choice. How do you think these things are the same? That is completely batshit insane.
