Everyone needs jBoots and you should be able to handle the OOT camp quite easily at that level.

How difficult is the jboots quest? Is the OOT camps usually farmed?

If you are on Blue, every camp is usually farmed. Its a single mob that respawns 6 minutes and 30 seconds after it dies. It is the stationary Cyclops/Ogre/Pirate that is on the south east corner of the AC island. (the one with the tower)

The quest is quite easy, if you have a porter alt that helps, but if you don't that's also fine. The Rapiers are lore, but you can leave one on a corpse (environmental deaths do not result in XP loss) in Rathe Mountains and just pick it up for the MQ recipient when you need it.

Levels are more important that cash, to tell the truth. Try to focus on getting 50+ and join a raiding guild. Do a few Plane of Fear clears and hope for a child's tear. Once you get your epic, farming is officially easy mode on a shaman.

What are environmental deaths? Drowning or falling from heights, for example?

Guess that means heading to CoM to level, lol. That epic quest looks insane to do

This is very true, but AC is decent XP if you are looking for something you can do solo for both decent cash and decent XP

The quest is actually very very easy. Do your faction, loot a tear, do the final fight, done.

You have to do some faction before you start on the pages but if you are high enough to do the pages then ya, that's what you do.
