Default Windows 10, 0X00000000031A45B4. Memory could not be read.

Just got a new computer with win 10, and whenI try to log on EQ it comes to a stop during the loading screen.
With the text:

Instruction on 0X00000000031A45B4 refered to the memory on 0x0000000003DAF0EC. Memory could not be read.

Roughly translated.

Does anyone know what that is and how to fix it?

Maybe try running as admin? I've heard that can help for older apps on newer Windows versions.

That'd be my first guess. Or try tweaking the resolution of EQ really quick

YES!
The service pack 3 worked, now that you mention I do remember I had to make that adjustment on an earlier computer.

Thanks guys, mission accomplished. You can remove the thread or keep it up for people that could be having the same problem.
1,000 thanks =)

If you're crashing upon camping a lot - switch to sp2 compatibility mode. I used to crash almost every time I camped but that resolved it.
