Default Alternative to Shrunken Gobby Earring?

Shammies: is there *any* viable instaclick alternative to the Shrunken Goblin Skull earring for canni-spamming?

Not counting the Black Fur Boots and not counting the Surveyor Scope -- the outdoor only restriction makes the boots less convenient than the Gobby earring, and the scope's zoom effect is enough to drive even an Ogre to his wit's end.

But... the lack of stats on the Gobby earring pains me every time I think of it. Is there no other choice?

Star of eyes clicks from inventory. I'd generally rather give up a minor (ear) stat slot than an inventory slot, but you might prefer the opposite. Also the benefit of the junk buff provided by the earring should not be entirely discounted.

I suggest working on your Coldain rings. The 8th ring has a DS insta click that is a great replacement for gobby earring.

I'm going to second the Star of Eyes. You could swap it for the Black Fur Boots for indoor zones. Takes about an hour to get with a porter buddy. I have one on my druid and it's a quiet cast. Your target can be an NPC but the range is on the shorter side.

There are two dangerous parts for getting the star of eyes solo though. Lower Guk navigation and praying invis vs undead doesn't drop at a wrong moment is a thing. The fact that the hand which is not undead is sitting next to a ghoul which is undead also causes invis problems. If you can get a friend to make the run with you so you have both forms of invis up for the run to the room, there's no issue. But solo, not so much.

Everfrost is a complete roadblock if Miragul is up. He sees through invis and has a massive aggro detection range. While he's not especially dangerous past what his level as a Necromancer and spells afford him, he has a metric crapton of health to burn through. In theory you could navigate the maze and get the piece without triggering him, but ooogh. Good luck with the try. It's going to be hard as nails.

TIL star of eyes

There is something cool about role playing that everything you touch you can magically identify immediately.

Crown of Hatred. It makes stars come out of your target's eyes
