Default iPhone tethering

Anyone have success playing EQ while tethered through their iPhone?

I haven't been able to connect to the login server. I did find a post mentioning enabling UDP packets on the PDAnet app that I use but I haven't seen any options for that.(version 5.02) I'm also running it through the USB for what its worth. Is there an alternate app that works better or such?

Thanks much!

I was able to login and run around in EC for a bit with my Android. I *think* I was using PDAnet, but it could have been something else. It might have been EasyTether, which I know for sure does have a UDP passthrough option. As for iPhone specifically, I couldn't tell you. By the way, I was running it through USB as well.

I use iphone 4 with PDAnet to play it no problem. Played for hours, no lag.. as if Im on the wired connection.. I was using iphone cable not hotspot mode tho. That way the phone charges and gives solid connection back.

Did you have the registered paid version? Wondering if that's a requirement for more setting options..

I used to play through both MyWi and normal Apple tethering all the time. Worked fine.
