Celebs going to the super bowl is like a sacrifice. Once they do their careers are pretty much over and they fall into irrelevance.

One big payday. They dont need to be celebs any longer. Can be them sans dumbfuck fans fawning over them.
Maybe? I dunno. Anyways, the Superbowl sounds more like a modern cricket thing.

Elon had the gall to not ban people unless they break the actual law. He literally bought the entire platform essentially just to make that one change. It should never have come to that, but a bunch of unelected babies decided to play god with how information is disseminated in a free society and he was like um nope to all that. He's also been highly vocal about the unforeseen consequences of cheap AI models, so this is totally consistent. It is, or should be, illegal already to digitally remove somebody's clothes without their consent.

You know he banned a bunch of journalists he didn't like, right? They didn't break any laws or violate any of twitter's policies. Also banned a bunch of people who talked shit about him and twitter.

You mean the owners of the website we were using as long as we agreed to their terms? They are the Gods of their own site. Why are they babies? Because they took a dim view on the dissemination of lies and psychological warfare? Their mandate wasn't to disseminate free speech, it was to make money. But after 2016 and 2020 they saw the forest for the trees, that providing a platform for misinformation and psyops was having real, direct, and pernicious effects on American society. Elon is just a different type of God in that space.

The 21st century will be won by whoever can dominate the information space-- hearts and minds. American democracy is particularly vulnerable to information warfare because:

1. We only have two parties, and most people are ultimately single-issue fixators, so it's really easy to solidify loyalty as a party or candidate, while actually truly representing almost nobody except elites.

and

2. Unlike Russia, China, and Iran, we do ultimately choose our leaders somewhat, and this choice can be influenced quite easily through information warfare.

Liking Elon Musk is gross. He's trying to open the gate and let the monsters in.

Is the Swift person saying vote and vote for a particular team? If so, booo.
If she just saying listen people get out and vote. Sounds like good advice. Even of its coming from a pouty whining adult baby.
Either way, country metal is now a thing so i can continue to be friends with the wife. It's like steampunk but for farmers.

I know! Once the private sector gets involved, who cares about basic morality? You can privately act as terrible as you want! I also guess that since Elon has banned some people, it can't possibly be better overall for most users. The boss has acted hypocritically (kinda), therefor let's just give it back to even worse people!

No, sorry, that doesn't pass the smell test coming from the dudes who fancy themselves the enlightened good guys. They kept inviting people like him to "go make your own twitter", and so he said okay assholes, I will! Sorry.
