The directive is in response to Florida’s Governor DeSantis signing of the bill, HB 1467. This requires all school reading material to be approved by an appointed education media specialist with the appropriate certification. The message that the district sent out states that the material must be, “free of pornography” and “appropriate for the age level and group.”

Not one book in the school library contains pornography. Name the one that does you personally know about if you disagree.

“free of pornography” and “appropriate for the age level and group.” means anything you want it to mean when you're in charge.

Teachers are having to remove all the books from their classrooms rather than incur the wrath of DeathSantis, but keep mindlessly parroting the talking points you got from Tucker's show last week.

They list the books off one by one by name. This isn't just some general panic.

There's a book that showed two adolescent boys sucking each other off...in full illustrated detail. This was given to Elementary Schools.
