Best game of all time, far superior to EQ in its day.

Skill based pvp, a far more interesting loot / crafting system, housing, rewarding guild (patron / vassal) system, live events, frequent patches with new content.

The only thing EQ had over AC was the raid scene. Fortunately in AC you didn't need to be a complete neckbeard to get good gear.

Turbine crushed it in that 99-04 era.

If anyone wants to actually legit start and level up together, im giving it some thought myself. With 2 accounts there is some strategic patron/vassal XP chain swearing you can do to push up alt characters. The "new" leveling path is pretty straightforward with the hub.

Toxigen#1230 on discord can add me. I may try to install / get it working this weekend.

Summoning is likely insanely overpowered like it was on live. Plan on spec summoning on any char for leveling. I can help with builds / char planning.

Yeah summoning was brought on during the last expansion (ToD).

Dark Majesty was the best period, but this server seems decent since they're pretty hardcore about anti UCM.

So now all the weapon skills are overhauled, summoning is a thing, and void magic too.

It would be cool to get a little squad going. There are NO buffbots or anything so its all on your own. The beauty about AC is there is a fellowship XP bonus. I forget what the exact splits are, but 5 people all hunting get way more than the even share 20% of the xp per mob...I think its in the mid 30%s or so. It highly encourages grouping.

You should plan your characters template to be functional / complete by level 100 at the latest with Ralirea and Oswald credits (both easy to acquire). You can do more friendly templates for 1-50 and 50-100 and also go to those temples and respec.

I definitely want to play - I am currently balls deep in my Necro at the moment now though. I want to get him to 60.

I'll probably lose interest soon though. So maybe I'll try this AC server.
