Account 1 character still there, but obviously LD

Is this 2boxing or should I say fuck it and pay a DaP to transfer?

This would be slower than just doing a drop transfer on 1 account.

What you do to minimize time is /camp and grab the item or bag you wanna drop (I use bags, always bags, never a lone item), wait until about 10 seconds left, and start the drop so you get the dialog box (You can do this sooner, but it'll reset if not Yes/No in like 20 seconds, which is shorter than the 30s camp time), I wait until 5 seconds or less and drop the bag, then just click my other toon and login and pick it up.

I have a few "secure spots" I do this around the world (and no I will not reveal those spots, lol) but really any out of the way location is fine, I've done it in the middle of SK and along the edge of FoB before, no problem. I usually hide behind a tree if I'm not in a town.

Never had an issue, probably done 30+ drop transfers. With how I do it the bag is on the ground for about 5 seconds at most.

Pretty much this. If you drop transfer something and someone comes by and grabs it too bad but if you hand someone something to transfer and they steal it they gonna get a sirkened.

Find a 60 in a reputable guild. Will usually transfer items np. Just take SS / logs of you asking them and them replying.

Anyone doing ground xfers on items worth anything are dumb imo. If you're doing like.. gnoll scrolls or something that's one thing.. but jesus.. just turn your log on, tell the person *please xfer this to mulex* and you're not going to get beat. ANYONE from am, tempest, kittens, ag, bg, ps, anonymous, etc. They won't take your shit. And if they do, it's a suspension, guild kick, and you will get your shit back. <3

My client crashes 90% of the time I camp out which effectively puts me in character select until the server realizes I'm no longer in game and boots me. This span of time can be as little as 15 seconds to as long as 2 minutes (30-40 seconds on average). I find switching characters is incredibly tedious especially if you have to do it multiple times.

I had this problem and switching to xp sp 2 (instead of sp3) compatibility mode fixed my crashing on camp issues.

I also mostly do ground xfers unless the item(s) in question are worth more than a few hundred plat.

/shrug

Is it really dumb if you have 100% success rate and don't have to find help? Its not hard to find an area of nearly any map where there is zero foot traffic, Freeport alone has dozens of buildings that nobody EVER walks through.

This can be annoying, I found that using windowed mode fixed this issue however, try an ALT+Enter before you log out sometime and see if that stops the crash.

You would be surprised at some of the high end items players just drop to the ground for transfers. Sure, there may be a chance at you getting your items back if they poof and aren't picked up, but there's inherent risk. Maybe that's what makes it appealing to some players [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
