Default Enchanter CHA soft cap?

I have heard that the soft cap is 200, and after this a chanter should focus on INT. is that true? Is there a point to getting 255 CHA?

Soft cap means that you still get returns, they are just smaller. So it's not totally clear what to do, it's up to your preferences.

I always get cha to 250 and go rest with int. With theft of thought, wandering mind and C2 you should be pretty much 80%+ mana the whole time.

If your keeping buffs up, pet, cc and slows going. One break on a bad pull could be a wipe or kill half your mana regardless.

CHA to 200ish (you can self buff the rest of the way) > HP > INT.

Honestly INT is not even worth gearing for - you'll end up with over 200 just by grabbing the best CHA and HP gear you can.

With Theft of Thought, C2, and Gift of Brilliance your mana should never be a problem unless you are the sole enchanter in a raid situation after a wipe.

When soloing/grouping with charmed pets, HP is going to save you more than anything.

Pyrion Flax?

On topic: These guys are all correct, I haven't been below 80% mana since level 40 on my enchanter with 204 unbuffed cha and idgaf how much int - I have 8 empty slots as well.

before level 50 don't worry about more than 200 of any stat...for every level past 50 you should want (205 + ((CurLevel - 50) *5))). Remember lvl 56 cha buff Overwhelming splendor gives you +50 cha. At lvl 60 you will want to be able to have 255 cha available for group and solo situations (and the rare event that your guild wants to leverage pet dps on a raid). In my experience CHA past 200 seems to still helps with charm duration higher level mobs (50-53) and reduces the chance of critical resist on pacify line of spells!...Wish i had put all my enchanters points into charisma, Velious gear has way too much int versus charisma...Min/max enc, high elf all points into cha

Ive said this in a couple threads, and I dont have any real data but 200+ for charming and 255 if you need to calm in a scary situation.

HP > INT after that

so 205 cha unbuffed (buff is +50 Im pretty sure)

Also i carry a cha bracer and the stein to make sure i can get to 255 if I know I am going to be doing some pacifications but i switch out for charming and gear for hp.

I don't know any Pyrion Flax, so if there is somebody by this name it isn't me. Pyrion has been one of my online names for a long time though.

Does the soft cap extend to sell/buy prices? Doing JC and I am not getting any apparent purchase/sell price differences on the bars at all above 200.
