Default How to increase chat text size

Is there a way to size up and down chat texts in a window ? I can't seem to find it under options or by editing the window.

THere is an in game command for it, but I forget what it is.

You could probably also edit your UI file

/chatfontsize 1

through:

/chatfontsize 5

(1 = smallest, 5 = largest)

To piggyback on this, I can't seem to get it to increase for every Tell window when I turn on Tell windows. Is there a way to make the font size setting stick for all future Tell windows?

Try changing the "chatfontsize" value in your eqclient.ini file? As always, save a copy of it before editing.

You can do /chatfontsize 1 - 6 actually, not 1 - 5 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

4 is too small and 5 takes up too much space. I need 4.5.

The only annoying thing about the /chatfontsize command is that it doesn't impact the text in your "typing" bar -- so when you're typing something, if you want to read what you're saying before you hit send, it's impossible to read!
