Depends if you mean Blue or Green server and what you are after.

Blue has few people leveling but you have access to all the great XP spots. Green is more scattered around now when Kunark is released. Was not really a problem lvl 1-40 but after that the spots were quite limited. Much better now however.

The game is funner without hand outs when every piece of cloth, then every piece of leather, then every junky ring and earring is an upgrade to the stuff you have. When junky quests with weak (by kunark standards) rewards are worth doing. I encourage you to progress without hand outs. (I would never turn away anything but don't waste your time seeking it out)

spent 2 hours in EC wheelin' n dealin, doing fun RP quests , and having fun.

got what i wanted (Mith bp and a decent two hander Nathsar )

once I'm higher lvl and have a full bank i'll do a raffle with /random 1000

Just comes from years of experience gathering riches in Kelethin, EC, and the Bazaar recollecting poverty stricken days.

Mith BP is shiny and cool though. Enjoy the game to the max however that looks for you. Take care.

If you keep playing, you will need to try the new PVP server when it launches in a year or whatever. I started on non PVP but after playing PVP its hard to play EQ without thinking of all the other factors that come into play when PVP is enabled. You will like it.

There won't be a new PVP server and don't play on it if there ever is. The PVP server currently has a population of about 20 people. This is because the biggest guilds and strongest players just grief weaker players over and over body camping them. You will not like it.

Don't be silly Bondrake Red99 has a long history that is much more complex than that. At this point the players from red99 have been asking for the server to be restarted for about 5 years and everyone is pretty much biding their time waiting for it.
