TBH I somewhat wish a new server would be released without the legacy item camps (or only have a very limited number drop). Especially if the new server ends up feeding in to blue once its life is over.

The more I think about the potential merge at the end of timeline it becomes less likely to happen in my mind. So many problems to overcome, what would you do about characters with the same name for one? Blue becoming a museum in itself of the struggle towards a classic server would be pretty fitting.

Sticking an 'x' at the end of the name was the classic solution.

Also leads to hilarious shenanigans for characters with names ending in 'se'. Poor Buttse!

I hope they do merge, if for no other reason that in 7 years time I could have gone on a scavenger hunt an merge/MQ my ranger some wooden planking for a bfg. Kinda sad [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

What if the only way to begin a new character on the new server was to give up a level 60 on the Blue server? How many people would be willing to go that route?
