Because rich people can contribute far more net tax revenue for society if you don't incentivize them putting their money in tax loopholes by taxing them at an obscenely high rate. Again, trump has not done anything illegal. If you want to change the laws that permit him to do this, then vote for it. But it will have trade offs for innocent people further down the ladder.

Taxing rich CEO owners at a high rate ensures that the thousands of other human beings who work for them will be laid off at a higher rate. This is why the 15\hr minimum wage proposal, for example, is like bone headedly stupid.

Fuck 15\hr, everyone should just have a 100,000 dollar yearly income guys! What could possibly happen? It's not like resources are finite or anything.

That depends on if the "casino owner" is paying himself a salary, instead of utilizing the "corporation" to afford the position of "owner"/"CEO" certain luxuries.

This delves into a much larger matter; that is to say, it requires completely re-envisioning how the US (and the world, by extension, for the most part) defines the legal entity and status of a "Corporation", which ultimately requires repealing Citizens United to address as well.

So, if you don't like the way things are, where a corporation can operate in a rather biased version of "Profit and Loss"; repeal Citizen's United, because if the Corporation is paying the "owner" a salary, and that salary is higher than your salary; he's paying more than you in "income tax" and this is undeniable no matter how you look at it, but that isn't how "Corporation Owners" are paying themselves. Often, they're not even paying themselves a salary at all, and all their "personal property" is actually property of the Corporation; if they're doing it "right".

By law, the "Gross profit" of a corporation, is the property of the corporation; which is its own independent entity. If the corporation is able to Houdini those "Gross Profits" , through various caveats we'll refer to as "Fringe Benefits", to a point at which the "Net Profit" on the Profit and Loss sheet reports Zero Net growth then the corporation, by law, has zero tax liability, since it did not gain cash/assets.

If the corporation stashes said profits away through an increase in assets on its balance sheet, then it is liable for Inventory Tax / Tangible Property Tax (TPP) but no matter how you chop it up "Income Tax" is the largest source of Revenue accounting for 50% of the Federal Government's revenue, while "Corporate Income Tax" only accounts for 7% despite being nearly 100% of what we define as the "economy".

It really just comes down to repealing Citizens United, and terminating the practice of Corporate Buybacks etc. None of the candidates are talking about this, however, as they're getting shitloads of cash on the dole for contriving the "Black Lives Matter" and other equally banal contrived "social" issues, on top of the fact that they're bought and paid for Kosher-Approved Overlords.
