Default Discord and WinEQ2

When I run WinEQ2 and want to talk via push-to-talk in Discord it doesn't register. WinEQ2 somehow eats all the inputs. Same for other voice programs such as Teamspeak.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

The solution was starting discord with administrator rights.

FWIW that's the solution to maybe 90% of all Discord problems. I honestly think they should have a warning that they show to all their Windows users (at least the first few times they use Discord) to inform them exactly how and why they should run in admin mode.
