new-ish; seeking static (duo)
With the release of Kunark on Green along with my favorite race, I'd really like to commit to a character for the long haul. Thing is, leveling up purely solo in this game is (for me) about as fun as chewing broken glass. My favorite way to go is duo.
I could put in a few hours of playtime most days, starting at 8PM CST, and race/class combos I'd be interested in playing are Iksar SHM, NEC, or Barbarian SHM. Anyone else on a similar schedule interested in rolling a character for a steady duo?

You should duo with another necro and have total victory over the game.

I've never actually played duo necros before. Can you double up on dots, or do you have to alternate?
Also, I'm now in-game as Visei the shaman. Level 4, so kind of a big deal. If there are any eligible monks who want a buffbot that can only cast Inner Fire, give me a shout. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

No you can't double dot, but you have two pets and the pet doesn't rob EXP so you can just keep throwing pets at mobs.

No unfortunately one of the non classic changes that P99 has implemented is that if a pet does more than 50% total damage dealt to the mob, the pet takes half of the mob experience. I am not sure the rational behind this non classic change but I know that for a period of time it was popular to choose a static spawn and have pet defend the player while the player is AFK, but this is now against the rules and will get you banned (from what I understand) so I guess the change is just to hurt pet classes for being too convenient. Honestly I don't know.
If you do a huge nuke at the end and it kills the mob BEYOND 100% and your total damage dealt (including overdamage) is over 50% then you will get full EXP.
