Best place to hunt for a druid necro level 20 combo?

Unrest? Mistmoore? Upper guk?
What is the fastest xp and best loot? Thsee are our first chars and we can't really even afford spells yet.

Lots of spells are totally unnecessary for leveling, if not totally pointless overall. So don't be worried just because you can't afford every spell at every level.

That said, you could do the gargoyles in OOT for some cash. They drop eyes worth 9-10pp each to vendors that stack and have no weight. You'll have sow, levitate, tracking (the gargs share spawns with lower-con skeletons that you want to clear asap to get more gargoyle spawns), the druid can vendor in zone if needed. They gargs will die easily to your duo, and you can just work your way around the island tracking down each garg/skele that is spawned and wandering around. If you wanna afk, go ahead. The gargoyles kill the skeletons if they run into each other, so eventually the whole island will be gargoyles!

It's not a FAST camp really. 6 spawns, probably half are the skeletons you don't really want. But the only danger for you two would be accidentally aggroing spectres while sow and levitate wear off... or someone else being at the island ahead of you.


Unless you want bigger groups than your duo, don't go to busy zones like unrest or mistmoore (or later CoM, KC). If you don't care about ogre and troll factions, killing ogre and then troll guards is a solid source of cash for newer players (lots of fine steel and shields and stuff to sell to merchants, and wolf form and skeleton form mean you can sell to merchants in both cities even after you're bottomed out on faction with most of the city IIRC). You can go from like... 30ish up to mid-40s doing that and make several thousand plat off all the weapon drops.

South Karana is a good spot for 20 to low 30s for both Necro and Druid.

Lake of Ill Omen also a good spot for those levels.

Also Warslik woods is really good. Try the Giant fort, if you can't kill them then look up the goblins

Upper Guk might be nice, though you would prolly need to invite a few more ppl to shine there.
