My day was the opposite but I made a bunch of money today so that was nice I guess.

I generously waived about 12k in bills so maybe there was some generosity on my part but it was mostly hate.

Had raclette with some German homies. Then they showed me feuerzangenbowle for the first time. You soak a sugar cone with 80% alcohol rum and then set it on fire over a bowl of mulled wine. The rum and caramelized sugar drip into the wine.

Shared and experienced pomegranate mindfully the first time in living memory. Going to dry and powder the rind for medicinals.

It was really fun seeing how many seeds I could chew and mash up at once!

Wrapped up shopping with the old lady tonight. We figured we spent $200 a kid, I'm happy with that. Could be lower but I'm fine with it.

Ended the night with a nice dinner, thought I might get lucky but she said she was le tired.

She probably was. Don't take it personal.

I'm always telling my family to not buy/stop buying stuff for me. I think moms can sometimes be universally the hardest in this regard. Especially if they're or where pretty affluent.

This year I asked for a dish drying rack. I think it finally sunk in that its important for me to be able to wash a single dish every now and then without fussing over drying it.

I also figured they can't get in too much trouble if I ask for something that's literally sub $10 in almost every iteration. A used one from the hospice, second hand store would even be great.

Great post as usual bud. I’m jealous of all the different cultures you encounter in Europe

Saw my elbow Dr on 1 month post-op follow up. Said everything looks great, incision has closed and gave me the go ahead to go back to lifting!

Fuck yea, gonna regain 1 month+ of lost progress and gonna get absolutely shredded again ASAP. Bigger and stronger than ever before. Will probably take it light on deadlifts to start though, that puts a lot of strain on the hand/wrist (or else I’ll get lifting straps which I hate, I see all belts and straps as a crutch normally that I don’t need)

Let’s fuckin go!
