Default Eqgame isnt recognizing the p99 files folder

So i tried to update the spell effects file to my designated p99 folder that i've had set up in c:\eq99 for years, but when i launch titanium it doesnt seem that the eqgame file is recognizing the eq99 folder anymore. and the launch titanium that came with the update, doesnt target the sony/everquest folder like the earlier launcher does. i've tried both launchers - one just says it cant find it, and the other launches the game but doesnt appear to look for the updated spell effects folder.

do i need to put the new spell effects files into the sony/everquest directory or the eq99 directory where i originally installed titanium?

You can just make a shortcut to eqgame.exe and add patchme to the end of the target line instead of use the launcher.
