Default everquest not recognizing my nvidia card

I have been trying to get EQ to show my nvidia card, i have been playing over a year and had not noticed that it never used the card and using the board graphics card instead. is there a fix for this issue?

i also went into nvidia control panel and set eqgame.exe to use it as default. but that doesnt work either under list if video cards only shows the on board video card.

card is a Geforce GTX 960M

My nvidia card (980M) only gets recognized if I set it as the global option in the nvidia control panel.

http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2.html is what you need. Place the dll files into your EQ folder and select the graphics card it shows you next time you start the game.

Hey this is pretty sweet, thanks Savok! Time to mess with some of my other older titles now and see how they behave.

Hmm,

No joy for me on this. I installed the DLLs, clicked into Options and I saw my nVidia processor. Followed things through and still using the onboard GPU even though the nVidia was chosen in options.

Disable your onboard gpu in your bios.

960M is a mobile coprocessor I think, can't disable the intel. I had similar issues
