Best way to reduce abortions is to provide easy access to contraceptives and birth control, as well as comprehensive sexual education that starts early and continues through adolescence. Reduced pregnancy => reduced abortions. It’s pretty well documented across almost every other first world country.

Actually, the best way to reduce abortions.. is to not allow them on-demand/for convenience (99% of abortions) .. that requires unwinding the social distortion caused by years of mass promotion of free on-demand abortions by Planned Parenthood and their cohorts to whom they sell baby body parts "for tEh sCiEnCe" (and new lambos, houses, etc), but that would take ACTUAL hard work, a steady public service announcement campaign to dissuade people from being so casual with their bodies, simultaneously publicly promoting crisis pregnancy clinics and the neonatal and postpartum support they provide, AND .. for corrupt people on the big medical/research end from profiteering from all of it.

The powers that be don't actually want more responsible people and less abortion.. they would lose their gravy train and eugenics wet dreams.

Like I said before, the next step for the religious fanatics running the GOP is a complete national ban on abortion under any circumstances.
