I love the "government has nukes" argument.

Like it's realistic at all. If a government had to use nukes to quell a citizen uprising, that government has bigger problems.

Yea the truth is if the government was using nukes on its own people then good Lord that's like way after the collapse.

If you think that the military is going to ship all of their equipment back to America to drive tanks through Kansas City then you're also totally nuts.

like liberals think that the military would just side with whoever was in the White House.

the type of revolution that we would ever see in America would be one where the country was split into half or more and in that case the side with guns is going to be better suited to maintain their status quo and since the gun loving, good fearing, Constitution protective American people are the people that I want running this country I'd say it's pretty fair that they have the guns that they need to maintain that status quo.

you would have a lack of order for a decade that's worst case scenario you need guns to protect yourself in that situation.

hell and plenty of places in this country liberals don't even know exist still you definitely need guns for protection if not to protect you from bears but to protect you from crazy people! there's crazy people all over the goddamn place even out in the country where the police take an hour and a half to get to you.

No, I’m pretty sure how soldiers work is they’re trained to think objectively and interpret the constitution. Then they shoot whoever is wrong.
