Changing Log=TRUE Giving me Access Denied
Changing my ini files to enable automatic logging is giving me access denied error. Anybody know a quick way around this? I tried to google a shitload of things but nothing is coming up, I imagine the problem doesn't have to do anything with the eqclient.ini but something more broad?

It might be set to read only. Right click properties and it's at the bottom.

Open notepad as administrator, then open this file in notepad (through file > open), make changes and then save.
This used to happen to me whenever editing this file. | ||

Drag the .ini to desktop, then do the editting+save, then put it back into your EQ folder.

You can move the entire Project 1999 main folder with all subfolders out of Program Files. Drag a new shortcut to desktop and play from the new file location. This has two benefits, it lets you edit your logs without elevation, and takes away the popup you get at eqgame startup also...however without seeing your setup first hand, you may then have to right click on the main folder and pull down to properties -> general and uncheck the "read only" box next to "attributes" if the eq folder has retained that attribute during the move. It should seem obvious that if you get a popup asking if you want to remove read-only from all files and subfolders, select yes.
