There was a custom UI that existed here for years that allowed you to store items in "ghost slots" making them 100% weightless and keeping your bags empty. Fixed after I reported it but there are probably a lot of things you can do that haven't been found yet or go unreported.

It says right in the OP that they appear to be 10 slot, but if the bag is smaller than 10, any items put in the non-existent slot will go to your cursor. Or is there some other bug going on? I'll admit I didn't read the entire thread, just the first page.

they go on your "cursor" nudge nudge wink wink, but don't actually appear on your cursor so you are actually free to manipulate other items while it is in that "cursor" slot, and you get 2 "cursor" slots per bag. sorry for quotations idk how this game really works but this is a great ui.

not 2 slots per bag, as many cursor slots as it takes to reach 10 slots, per bag.

Customized ui doesn’t add extra hot bars or create any advantages. Client side preference. Let them live their classic. If you think there weren’t any customized ui’s during classic/kunark you must have been 12 years old playing Paws in Typing Town and screaming when mom made a phone call and caused you to LD at Orc 1.
