Boxing would be fun. Nobody takes Red seriously as it is. I don't see why we got so many people with such strong aversions to boxing.

No boxing is one of p99's selling points. There are people who play for that fact alone.

My argument is not population related, its more regarding the integrity of Red versus Blue. Blue is reputable and legitimate as they can get it; that's why I like blue, and wouldn't want boxing on blue. I even started a thread suggesting a second Blue server for only boxing folks who wanted to pay a subscription. Which is all fallacy anyways and everyone knows it because you can't charge for emulated EQ. besides my point.
Red is the bastard red-headed step child anyways and nobody holds it to the same standards as blue, so why not let Red be the playground? It already has non-classic EXP rates, too.

allowing boxing would make the pop surge
The pop would be the same and in fact boxing would hurt the chances of people joining.
It would hurt the pop because #1 how would we know the 40 players aren't just 20 people, in this scenario.

Also it would make the server so you had to box to be successful. 3 people would make a full group to exploit the group exp and gank anyone who's playing 1 or 2 characters.

Boxing would hurt p99 RED in it's current state.

---
Anarchy Online is currently having a similar issue with population and boxing in relation to population. The examples I've given in this post correlate. I also have first hand experience from ultima online when it comes to servers which allow boxing. Yes it makes the population LOOK bigger, but it doesn't actually increase the population as much as you'd think. And can hurt.

---
But you're just going to disagree with me and I presume you have no experience with this area of server management. Though I hope and believe your intentions are for the greater good of red 99.

You can practically box as it is. Only the dumbies get caught slipping.
