Is the chat fuzzy and/or blurry?

At char select screen (in case it causes a crash) press alt+enter to go windowed and then again to go back to full screen. Fixes the text blurriness for me.

I was having a hard time getting things to go fullscreen on my 1080 monitor, I chanted the resolution to a 16:9 resolution first, and then it could fullscreen without a problem, maybe that might be getting you? you get better graphics options in game with alt+o than the options menu on the login page
