Default Armor colors are way off!

This has been bugging me for months, haven't gotten off my ass to bug report it till now tho, sorry. All the other colors are right, it's JUST the armor sets that are off. I have seen many screenshots from others to correlate what these screenshots show, and I'm sure plenty of you can add anecdotal or screenshot evidence to back up the fact that armor looks washed out on p99. I don't know if the opacity is wrong, or if it's the way the light interacts with it.. I do remember that this happened on live at the time of the new model releases.. You could keep the old models, but they looked dumb after the patch.

This is what indicolite/LR is supposed to look like on a dwarf.

The colors in general are different on everything, not just the player models.

Cleric PoH armor has the same problem. Not that purple could ever look good, but its more pinkish now.

The fact that humans can run around at night and see just fine is an indication that the entire game is lighter it would seem. I don't even notice the infravision effect really-- ultravision is moreso obvious though.

Colors seem more crisp when there are no lighting effects, no doubt.

The image will look different depending on what light source you are using.

Some forms of light like fire beetle eyes give off a yelowish light were as a greater lightstone gives off a whiter glow. That will effect the exact shade you see on your armor.

The game is lighter yes, but there is still a difference in race vision. It's simple to test, just make a half-elf followed by a human in freeport at night and you will see the difference.

Also they did indeed change the level of darkness in the game over the years. Not sure when exactly but I do recall being asked for vision buffs back in the day from newbs.

Lighting is handled differently compared to how it used to back in the day. Especially if you have the "use advanced lighting" box checked. Its difficult to tell if the actual tints for the armors are off, or if the game is simply drawing/mixing the colors differently. I have personally noticed that bronze armor sometimes looks gold, while other times it looks fine. I saw someone in Mithiril that looked more silver than the purpleish color its supposed to have.
