game crashes everytime I log out!

Hey all,

I just started and the client I'm using crashes almost every time I camp to character select! (and never when logging in the first time). It happens about 80% of the time on two different computers I've tested. I also get the same crash when zoning but only about 10% of the time instead of 80%. I get this error:

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I'm using someone else's copy of the game (like, it has UI customizations and some sounds off and stuff, not sure of the full extent of that) but I feel like it's not a UI file problem or anything like that since it only happens most of the time. Any ideas?

Run as administrator.

I have AVG and it screws with my game. Check your antivirus maybe.

I think that popup could be contributed from any number of reasons.

I have the popup that displays when I log out the game on my laptop, but I just think its because its a shit laptop. I tried running the client as administrator and still got the same problem. Its not a huge issue for me, but if it is for you, you may have to dig your way through Google to find a solution.

running as admin's not helped. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] tried disabling all antivirus.

The weird thing is that it saves all UI changes even when it crashes (yknow how EQ doesn't save unless you log out properly).

It's happening on a rather futuristic pc as well as a mid-range one. neither are crappy machines, but the hardware between the two are dramatically different so I doubt the problem is there. It's really annoying when trying to quickly swap characters. ;_;
