So as I frequent my usual haunts on the internet I occasionally run into people drooling over In N Out and I never understand it. I lived in CA for 20 years and only ate there like 5 times because it sux. Sorry to dissapoint but the truth needs to be said.

It's a $2 burger and the worst fries you'll ever eat. The animal style sauce is basically just ketchup and mayonaise, something that should be standard issue for any burger and definitely doesn't belong on fries.

Five guys burger like 4000x more customizable.
I worked at five guys for quite some time, never tired of the food. immensely better than brown bag burger, whataburger, or in-n-out.

Five Guys cheeseburger 840 calories
Five guys regular fries 953 calories

Almost 1800 calories with no toppings, condiments or drink.

Fat.

I avoid fast food when possible. I packed my lunch for work today:

1 Apple
1 Orange
1 Small bunch of grapes
1 Kashi Honey Almond Flax bar
1 Cherry Coke Zero

Infinitely better than when I forget my lunch and go to SomeBurro for two shredded beef tacos lol

There isn't any damn healthy fast food places in my part of town :-(

water instead of a coke zero. there are no healthy fast food places anywhere. if you get the time then make your own granola. it's pretty easy and tastes better.

You're pretty light on protein in that lunch, so you're going to get hungry in mid-afternoon when you burn up the carbs. There's nothing healthy about diet soda.
