I remember them lowering the price of spells, but not when.

I can feel the pain of OP, specially when you start without anything on your name or a higher level alt to twink you a bit.

The only thing I can say to you is that as you level up plat will be easier to get , the only real expensive spells will be researched ones, as people ask absolutely insane prices for them.

I am dreading upon leveling having to buy a spell off them, so I will try to do research on my own as slow and painful as it can be, but money for spells off vendors will be easy to get the higher level you are.

As a small tip, after being so broke for so long I found out people pay good money for Polar Bear skins in the Qeynos /Halas area so I decided to sell some of them for around 20pp each and as soon as I got them people ripped them off my hands for money.

They are used for the rechargeable halfling porting cap so save them.

But yeah, I know how awful those prices can be when starting up

Spells got reworked in Everquest live to get rid of "levels" and prices went down. Allakazam reflects live Everquest.

Spells are pricey ... as a starting out caster you wear cloth and buy spells. As a mele you spend all your money on equipment. Be sure to buy the most important spells and forego the others for now and pick them up later when you have more plat.

Just replying to show my appreciation for OP using the phrase Howdy Doody. Something I will attempt to do more often myself. That is all.

I seem to recall reading somewhere, that waybackmachine only saves html-pages and script code.
It is not "screen-scraping"!
That means you can (depending on the website architecture) visit an ancient site, run ancient script-code that connects to a current modern database, retrieve modern data, and display it in the waybackmachine viewer.

So old sites that displays data that corresponds with EQ-live data is not "archived data".

The castersrealm archive obviously does not show EQ-live data. which is why I think the data from castersrealm is authentic.
