I'm pretty sure this is a throwaway year for the democrats. The establishment supports Trump in presidency but under never ending scandals that hamstring the executive branch. My guess is democrats will put out a better candidate in 2024 and that's where they will push their main agenda forward like they made a push with Obama. They will justify and frame it as revenge for Drumph. This is just my personal analysis. I don't get the vibe the DNC and establishment are supporting any of their candidates seriously.

The Democratic party is split between business democrats and democratic socialists; the party is going to be reformed within the next decade. The small farmers and union workers the party was once a champion of have been left behind.

My hopes of a viable party that supports both social and economic freedom are dwindling, and I will probably never live to see that day.
