zone lag/spike whenever someone enters the zone
Hi guys,
Looking for help/solution. Everytime I play EQ, if someone enters or leaves the zone im currently in, I get a SUPER quick/little lagspike/jump, I notice it always, since I get this little jump, and then I per. auto always checks who enters.. which is fine, and dosent destroy my experience with the game. BUT! when I try to play my bard, if I try to swarm (practice) each and every time, someone enters... I spike/lag/jump for 0,1sec which is enough for my character to change direction, if I'm running in a circle = DEATH! it's so annoying that ofc I just stopped that... but now it got me wondering... is it a setup up, what could cause this? Really hope someone out there had the same issue, and know how to solve it. Many thanks for reading, hoping you can help [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Thanks. | ||

Do you have logs on? If a characters log file gets extremely large it can cause small spurts of lag. If thats the case you can rename your log file (to save it) or delete it and see if that resolves it

This always happened to me when I was playing from a flash drive or a slow emmc type drive.
