Game Mechanics: Mage pet item issue

Experiencing an issue on green where I can't give items to my mage pets.

Did some digging and found references to a pet "click through" option, this does not seem to be the issue-- I can click the pet.

Has anyone experienced this? It seems to be intermittent. Tried searching the forums but did not find anything.

Make sure pet isn't aggroed on anything when you try to trade?

I found the issue. I was using pet tracking, and even though the pet wasn't chasing any MOBs down or attacking, he was aggro'd. Thanks!

That's one of the reasons why I always put a /pet back line after the track line.
