Thanks for your help. I made the alias. But I get the same thing. It's starting to appear that to play this game you need to be have either programing or code skills to be able to make things work properly. Though I certainly don't mind learning new things, I don't really have the time to spend multiple hours every few weeks trying to fix things that don't work or that have now become broken.
I had to learn how to access and adjust few files in EQ Mac but it was very straight forward and once learned, dependable. This much constant work kind of feels like an elitist-tech persons game and I barely have enough time to play EQ as it is. Maybe if the installation process eventually becomes more standardized and dependable I can join in but I've seriously spent many, many hours this last week just trying to get the game working with no success. Maybe I'll just take a break and see if it makes more sense later. Thanks for all your help. | ||
