Restarting your computer seems to help, have had this issue a few times. If that doesn't do it, relogging enough times will fix the issue.

WTB more info on this for devs. What is leading to the issue happening, is there something specific that occurs before it happens, etc. Right now there is 0 to go on.

the issue usually is attached to zoning for me, though occasionally i will get a huge lag spike and it will occur without having zoned for awhile.

it happens a lot more often when zoning into Trak's Teeth, but it also occurs elsewhere on a frequent enough basis for it to be annoying.

and it hasn't happened to me once yet on Red, despite it typically happening at least once a play session on Blue.

Sounds like it may be a desync issue with the network.

My understanding is that this happened before the patch, but is happening a lot more now. Thanks pharmakos, anyone else who's had this issue please chime in and try to give some specifics we can hand off to the staff for them to look at.

the really strange thing, like i said on the previous page, is that people say they can see my outgoing /tell's and /gu's.... but i can't see any incoming messages until i relog.

I've found that doing something in /say fixes it, but only if i'm the one bugged out. If nobody can send me tells? Doing /say hi and I can send / receive tells, do /who all etc.
If I can't send Bialar a tell but I can Detoxx a tell? Bialar is the one who needs to use /say.
