I tried Rift for a day or so then bailed. I'm unsure if hack n slash constant pvp craziness type MMOs are usually awful, or if I'm now just too old to understand and get into it.

I played until I got a character to 50, then stopped sometime after. It was fun getting there, just got tired of grinding instances and fighting off the same invasions over and over. PvP was fun, especially during invasions, but that too got old.

I played during Beta but knew I wouldn't enjoy it.

I still get e-mails from them about it, so I keep tabs on it but have no interest at this time.
I'm more than happy with P99. :-)

Rift has no appreciation for class-lore relevance. Their quadruple-class hybrids are beyond ridiculous

i like it lol belive it or not what ppl say i mean its no EQ but still fun to me i like the class system they have since you can make your own unique class lots to do doesnt really bore me but then again time your max lvl prob will get the same like WoW did in cata for me since i only been playing 5 days now and im already 35 lol :P there is 50% and other bonus right now tho only rason im lvling so fast

I played a cleric at launch and I was being turned down to heal groups because I wasn't a bard or a mage.

How fuckin stupid is that.

A friend plays and it looks pretty cool. I may when I upgrade to a better comp that doesn't keep crashing when the gpu gets too hot. Damn laptops.
