Choppy lag

Hey guys. Seem to be stuck right now and can’t make my laptop really playable.
It is giving me choppy lag/warps. About every 3-5 seconds my game seems to hiccup.
My old computer that doesn’t have close to the specs that my laptop has, runs EQ flawlessly.

Any help would great.

Some have had no issues until last patch and turning off advanced lightning solved it. Could try that

Options (Alt-O) - Display Tab - Advanced - Disable Use Advance Lightning

Any large logfiles? some people have issues when their char logs get above a certain size. rename it so the client creates a new one and try again.

Sometimes re installing the entire game works too. Ive done it twice and its worked better both times.
