Quest Issue: Original Stein of Moggok should be 1hb

It started as 1hb, but later changed.

You could use both of them at the same time too, if you had an original.

this was the best thing I found noting that it did in fact exist, as it was brought back as some special legacy reward

There was a post v from 2004 talking about Stein of moggok being 6/28 (which matches the Alakazam entry). It's not clear what the context is though.

Here's a dude trying to sell the 1hb version. Maybe someone should ask him where he got it? The post is recent.

Read this thread over from August 1999 and provide a summary... something something about "Glowing Stein" being the original reward for the quest, but then being changed to "Stein of Moggok". Reports on TEST about it being a weapon currently and 'hoping' it stays that way. Something else about how if you unequip it then you can't re-equip in offhand.

I'm too tired to make heads of tails of it now and have never done the quest and unfamiliar with the item.

Seems like Stein of Moggok shouldn't be in at release, but "a Glowing Stein" which can be completed by any class (seems like quest was different, easier? Didn't have the faction component to it). In August 1999 they nerfed the quest and created Stein of Moggok as reward.

Is possible all existing Glowing Steins converted to a 1hb type Stein of Moggok, but quest ones weren't?

They did "Ancient" versions of legacy items by the looks of it.

Hell of an obscure one for them to get.

I had the 1hb version restored to me by a GM instead when they replaced a stein due to a trade bug. Then I got another of the new version. You could wield both at once and I'm not mixing that up with the crude stein.

EQLizier 2000

Here the Glowing Stein has 5 less Disease Resist and no Clicky Light Healing, but it weighs 0.7 instead of Stein of Moggok's 2.5.
