Cool /role doesn't show on others

On red, /role should make your name pink for everyone. For some reason, everyone's name shows as red even if they are roleplaying. It works fine on blue, or on people oor (purple, as opposed to blue).

if their name is red, they are in your pvp range.

Having to con a player and check if they are in range is classic.

Knowing immediately at a distance without even conning someone that they are in your range needs a fix.

This also needs to be moved into PvP bugs.

Thx muches.

Sorry, my post must have been too ambiguous. The bug I am experiencing is that no one can tell visually if another is /roleplaying. Their names should appear as pink, instead of red, but everyone within range is red even if they are roleplaying. On Rallos Zek if a person was /roleplaying you could tell because their name was not red, it was pink. Here only your own name shows as pink if you are roleplaying, and other people always show as not roleplaying because their names are red.

This feels really repetitive, and I hope I'm being more clear now.

Just tested this. Other PCs within eyesight do NOT change their Name Coloring when they toggle /roleplay. It always stays blood-red.

This bug may be on Blue if you turn in your Tome of Discord (to flag yourself).

My toon is at EC Tunnel on Red99 if anyone wants to test.

It is a result of the custom /con system which needs to be removed anyway

That should fix this problem

Bump. This may seem like a very minor issue, but it's a serious pet peeve of mine not being able to tell when a player is /role, especially on the PvP. Was classic to see a pink name with no guild and know that player was guildless, and everyone knows how important /guildstat is in PvP.

for red, the entire name and con system needs to be put back to classic.

Seriously guys.... ? This is a PvP server and some shit is better custom. I kinda get the name color thing but... who rolls around /role if they ain't in a guild anyway? Much rather our GMs put time into real issues like water-dodgeing spells, fixing earth pet root, etc. And not unraveling a working system they already decided on
