Shamans soloing nameds
So I heard level 60 shamans with torpor can pretty much solo any named an enchanter can. Killing dragons in WW, soloing seb crypt, stuff like that. I've seen techmos videos on him soloing names but how do shamans do it? Can some experienced shamans elaporate?

keep torpor on, slow mob, dot it up, canni
sometimes you fight a mob for 45 minutes but its super safe and you can't really die unless you are retarded

Soloing (high end content) as a shaman is, imo, very boring to both do and watch. Once I got Torpor I had a bucket list of mobs I wanted to solo so I went to kill Ayilish (WW) and the actual kill took me like 45 mins. Your dps is painfully slow. However it is mostly safe compared to the more volatile nature of charming.
I don’t agree that “you can’t really die” though. Sometimes level 60 mobs like TwentyTwo will randomly resist 10 slows in a row even with sini and tash stick on.

Overall soloing power is still probably higher for an enchanter because there are a bunch of mobs that a shaman could solo, maybe even better/safer than an enchanter could, but... they can't really pull them solo or even get to them in a reasonable timeframe because they lack the calm / mez / blur lines of spells an enchanter usually relies on heavily.
There are probably a ton of examples but BM or some HS nameds come to mind.
