Default i give up

have been trying to get this to work for better part of an hour. its the shortcut thats stopping me. i add patchme to the end and click run. it trys to install the launch pad. when i remove the space it says make sure the path and file name are correct. they are . no clue [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

ok now i get to the station login/pw area but there is no server list.

ok ok i got to where i can select the server. but when i click it the screen goes black and i get an error. this is turning into one heck of a sat night lol.

If you are getting to server select and then, before character select you get an error (whether you can read it or not before the client crashes) - very often it is a problem with your video resolution in the eqclient.ini.

In the [VideoMode] section, ensure that the full screen and windowed mode resolutions fit/match the native resolution your monitor is set to now.

Often this fixes the error at that time - before character select. Good luck.

Also, make sure you have not accidentally ran the patcher. If so reinstall.
