Default Maugarim and High Priestess Mitty

On P99, Kerra Island has only ever existed in its post-revamp state. Two NPCs need adjustment to match the rest of the zone.

Maugarim is currently spawning in her pre-revamp location. Her position was moved with the revamp to Kerra Island in April 2000.

This Japanese quest guide notes the updated /loc

Maugarim's new spawn area

Upon my exploration of this new 'upgrade' I had the fortune of running across Maugarim (cleric greave icon spawn) in her new spawn area. It is in the small basment in the temple where Mitty used to spawn. go down the stairs and she is in the room to the left while the banished kerran is now in the room to the right.

Maugarim is a VERY common spawn in kerra now. left room in palace basement. level 25, nothing assists her if your 30+.

Since Kerra Ridge was patched, I had the most trouble finding this MoB. She is located in the temple, if u walk to the very back of the temple, there are some stairs leading down behind a small yellowish wall of brick. Take them, and she spawns in the room on the left. Blue to me at 30
It appears that she no longer summons a pet once moved to the Temple. The Kerra and gorillas near her could also KS Maugarim if she ran within range of them. From the same link above:

There's not a whole lot to say about her, but I like expound, so here it goes. She's a necro without a pet. So, unless the Kerran's are KOS to you, she's easy prey. The best approach is to kill her as fast as possible, before she can sucessfully Fear you or hit you with Shock of Poison. Shock of Poison isn't too bad, for me (level 29 cleric) it would probably take 3 to kill me. If she Fears you, you'll run upstairs, she'll chase you and the guards will kill her. This is what happened to me, but it wasn't too bad because she spawned again like 15-20 minuted later. I went back down and: Wrath, attack with mace, Stun, Wrath, Holy Might, Wrath, dead Heretic. You take a faction hit with Bertox. The worst problem is getting back to the Temple of Solusek Ro to cash in on your cleric greaves because nobody who can port you has any reason to come to Odus.

Take care,

I saw a number of pre-revamp accounts discussing how to best manage Maugarim's pet (fearing it, rooting it, ignoring it), but no post-revamp account I could find mentioned a pet at all. Perhaps the proximity of hostile Kerra made keeping the pet too problematic.

High Priestess Mitty should not be spawning in post-revamp Kerra Island. She was replaced with Khonza Mitty of Kerra who no longer drops the gold ring for the Paw of Opolla quest.

Kerra Ridge HAS changed dramaticly. The MOBs there are a little tougher and
will even agro up into the low 40s. I DID... repeat DID see Mitty. Although
her name was slightly changed. to Kugara Mitty or something like that. I
killed her and as usual she didn't have any of the rings... But I repeat the
zone HAS changed, and Mitty DOES still spawn there.

After a patch and ran to make a loot run on Kerra Island, and I saw her. She was in High Priestess Mitty's old spawn point so thats what drew me. Her name is mitty, and they took the old one out. Maybe they put her back in as this name...? She didn't drop a ring when I killed her though.

I was bored today so i went to Kerra and hung around for about 5 hours. I got all the items that drop off the named spawns there. During this time "A Kerran Amira Priestess" kept spawning in the throne where Mitty is supposed to spawn. I killed her about 10 times at least. One time instead of her, Khon Mitty of Kerra (or something of the sorts) spawned. I was amazed because Mitty no longer dropped the rings for Paw of Opolla quest so i thought they deleted her, (The Mutated Fungus in Lguk now drops an item that you trade to Melixis for the Gold ring)I killed her and she dropped nothing... Pretty dissapointing.

I just finished the Paw of Opolla quest a week ago. While i was surfing Everlore looking for new stuff to kill i stumbled upon your peoples rantings about this cat person dropping the rings. She DOESNT drop them anymore and hasnt for a looooong time. Go to Blackburrow and swim in pond to get silver, kill Gynok Moltar at the entrance(kill all his place holders to get him to spawn) in Befallen for platinum, copper and gold are only recieved by getting the drops off of the Mutant Fungus in Guk. Those drops are Degenerated Guk Weed(gold ring) and Guk Bracket Mildew(copper ring). Return those two drops to Milixis to get your gold and silver rings. The gold ring component is the rarest of the two and i mean rare(unless your very lucky). Good luck fellow wisdom casters.
Allakhazam entry for Khonza Mitty of Kerra:

Mitty can still be found in Kerra Isle. She no longer holds the rings which she bought from the Moltors, which instead are "sold" by another Kerran.

Quest Changed 4/11

Mitty is not longer part of the quest. The new Paw of Apolla quest npc is Melixis. She can be found at the building right in front of the entrance into the temple. She asks for the following items in trade:

Dull Ring=Bracket Mildew
Shiny Ring=Faerix Spores
Really Shiny Ring=Degenerated Guk Weed

If anyone has anymore information please post.
