Thanks for everyone's insight thus far. I have had a fairly easy time with just spec 1, as long as I have at least 1k mana. They tend to rest a nuke or a root or two. I still use Root as it is super cheap, so I'm not exactly sure if the next one up performs better for the mana cost. There is always a chance for it to break when numed AFAIK. Without any nume resist, the typically get below 20% right as root wears off or right as the 5th nuke lands. I gotten 2 levels with only 1 death, due to afk medding and a train and silly me looted the whole corpse without res at lvl 40, so double dumbass on me. I am going to head to CoM at 44 (plus death buffer) to see what all that action is about though. Prolly end up back at specs though for easibility and afk solo.
TLDR: As long as you have 1200mana it isn't too bad, barring resists.
