Default EQ and Win8.1 64-bit?

sup everyone.

upgraded to said OS, copied my EQ folder over and it wouldn't work due to all kinds of different settings. installed a fresh titanium client, followed the setup guide to the letter, but it keeps crashing on the loading screen after server select (like 10% into the loading process). spews out some memory error and that's it. tried wineq, but it doesn't fix it - windowed mode enabled and all.

has anyone else had this issue?

There are multiple threads on this topic. A quick search turned up a few options. Try setting the link for Win XP SP3.

This doesn't work for me but some have had luck with it.

I just checked my shortcut again and It wasn't set for XP/SP3 compatibility. I switched it over and haven't crashed yet before char. select.
