Accidental KSing bug?
[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] the chat log should explain my problem, hopefully. I engaged a gnoll, fought it to 10%, then while it was fleeing, the player Buffbank hit it twice and got the killing blow. This should have yielded me full xp since my Dots did most of the damage. Yet it went to him, and he took looting rights. Is this a known bug?

That is true, but I didn't think that should make a difference. I do that to remove aggro.
If it's known to more advanced players that mechanic works against enchanters, please watch players like this for abuse of that. It's really the one way I can survive as a pet class solo at this point.

Agro wipe mechanic also resets the damage list or whatever mechanic it is that determines winning player for xp.
E.x. can do 99% dmg to a mob, charm, break, and then let someone else kill so that other person gets all the xp. Mem wipe works the same.

Well it was lvl 4 mesmerization not a memory blur.
It also does not remove aggro, when it breaks they remember me.

If this is a known mech then I need to report the player Buffbank

Mez spells have mem blur component. it doesn't work every time. sometimes it does, especially if you do it more than once.

Oic. Thanks for explaining that to me. So if the memory blur of mez activates on a mob at any point you lose your credit towards damage output ? That majorly sucks, unless you are trying to exploit it.
I guess I will be great at powerleveling people. Should this occur again, I will report it as a rule violation for ksing.
