Difficulty with Spirit Sentinel Turn in (Shaman Epic)

I'm having difficulty combining the 6 reports from City of Mist into the journal the Spirit Sentinel gives in Emerald Jungle. I have put all 6 pages into the book but keep getting an error message saying 'these items cannot be combined in this container type.' I confirmed they are all the correct pages (and they are Lore so no duplicates possible) and that they are absolutely in the right container instead of a random bag. I petitioned in game but got a response that they do not help with issues like this.

Anyone have this issue before? Appreciate the input.

Personal Diary Page
Crier's Scroll
Merchant's Letter
Written Announcement
Priest's Diary Page
Student's Log

The container was given to me by the Spirit Sentinel in Emerald Jungle and is called 'Ancient Journal' although I cannot find an entry for it on the wiki, which is strange.

Still no success. I looted all new pages as well and the book is still not combining. Anyone else experiencing this?
